Early Sunday morning was the day: with lots of bags and suitcases, we set off with our teachers on the coach towards Austria. Four days of mountains, snow and skiing lay ahead of us. While some of us were already experienced skiers, the ski camp adventure was completely new territory for others. Our lovely accommodation, just a short walk from the lift station, delighted us with friendly hotel rooms and delicious food every day. After breakfast on Monday, it was off to the ski area. We were divided into different groups according to our ability. The beginners gained their first experience on skis on the flatter terrain, while the more experienced skiers skied down the steeper slopes. Every day we learned something new and enjoyed the sun, snow and mountains, even though it looked like spring on the slopes and the temperatures were not very wintry. In addition to all the practice on the slopes, there was also a lot of theory to learn. In addition to the rules of the slopes, we also dealt with first aid and everything that goes with staying safe on the mountain. The four days of skiing flew by. It was a great time with lots of sport in the great outdoors. On Friday we went back home with lots of new impressions from the mountains.
