Under the motto: "Discover your new school", we would like to cordially invite you to an open day at the International Grammar School Meerane.

In the first week of February 2026, the IGM was transformed into a vibrant project landscape. Nineteen classes immersed themselves in over 30 projects and experienced learning as a journey of discovery, far removed from the usual timetable and full of new perspectives.

As in the previous year, our 10th grade students participated in the economics competition organized by the Chemnitz Junior Chamber and demonstrated their knowledge of economic issues.

January 27 is the official day of remembrance for the victims of National Socialism.

A great success for the IGM! All four participants achieved top rankings at the Spanish Olympics held at our school.

During the week from January 4, 2026, to January 10, 2026, we, five Latin students in grade 9 at IGM, traveled to Rome with a few students from grade 11 at Spalatin-Gymnasium Altenburg.
Accompanied by two of our teachers, we learned about Roman culture and had the opportunity to visit many sights.
