Meerane, 01.08.2024 - The International Grammar School Meerane is delighted to announce the successful participation of our pupils in the "genialsozial - Deine Arbeit gegen Armut 2024" campaign day. A total of 168 committed pupils from our school took part in the campaign and raised an impressive 5301.14 euros.
The day of action on 18 June 2024 mobilized our students to use their manpower for a good cause. The money raised will benefit projects that fight poverty and promote social justice.
Another part of the amount also supports our Friends' Association and helps us to improve the green outdoor area and other school projects.
We are extremely proud of the commitment shown by our pupils and would like to thank everyone involved and our supporters. We are already looking forward to the next round of the "genialsozial - Deine Arbeit gegen Armut" campaign day on June 24, 2025. Of course, the International High School Meerane will be at the start again to support Saxony's largest youth solidarity campaign.
