Our Swimming Camp 2025 Adventure

Swimming camp 2015

We, the sixth graders at IGM, went to swimming camp from Monday, August 11, 2025, to Friday, August 15, 2025. We arrived at school as usual at eight o'clock in the morning with our swimming gear. We were very excited and took the school buses to the swimming pool together.

Once there, we had breakfast first. It was always the boys' and girls' turn to swim. We also practiced jumping from the edge of the pool and from the diving platform. At lunchtime, some of us got delicious chips, which we shared - and of course we also had ice cream.

On Wednesday we had the opportunity to take the bronze badge. During the swimming breaks, we played soccer or volleyball, and Mr. Friedel impressed us with a backflip!

On Thursday and Friday you could take the silver badge. Most completed the course, but unfortunately some did not. On Friday afternoon, it was announced who had been awarded the silver badge. We were very proud and happy because we had made it.

Then, unfortunately, the wonderful swimming camp was already over.
