Swimming, jumping, diving and lots of swimming badges

For our sixth graders, the school year did not start in the usual way in the classroom, but in the Glauchau outdoor pool. Over four days, we worked together on our individual swimming skills, depending on our previous knowledge. These included breaststroke swimming, swimming on the back, various jumps into the water, diving off the starting block and deep and distance diving. Depending on the desired swimming level, there was special training, for example crawl swimming and transport swimming techniques for our 8 "Goldies". In total, we were able to award 1x seahorse, 2x bronze, 12x silver and 8x gold. In this context, we would like to thank all parents for their trust, the Glauchau outdoor pool, who were always able to reserve two lanes for us despite the high number of visitors, and last but not least our students, who contributed the most to the success of the swimming camp.
