On 20.05.2025 it started: the student theater festival at the theater in Zwickau under the motto "Together a galaxy". We set off on the bus at eight o'clock in the morning. There was a lot of excitement as we didn't know whether the other groups would like our play.
When we arrived, we first looked around a bit. Then we sat down in the large auditorium, where the other groups were already eagerly waiting for the festival to start. After a while, it started. There was a joint opening where we were told what the course of the day would be.
The groups then performed their own plays. We liked all the plays very much - and our own play was also very well received by the audience. And so it went on until the end of the first day, and at half past three we drove back to Meerane.
The second day began with a performance by the Salto Salcin children's and youth circus. This performance was very exciting and fascinating. This was followed by a phase of various theater workshops that we had signed up for in advance. For example, there was movement theater, clowning, object theater, stage combat and much more.
Then all the participants went to their group leaders and the workshops began. In movement theater, we first played some fun games. Then we developed a play about the origins of man and the earth - in a form that was very easy to understand. That was great fun.
After lunch, the results of the workshops were presented. All the presentations were exciting, creative and sometimes very funny.
In the end, we drove home again - and unfortunately the festival was already over.
