Christmas concert 2024: A celebration of school and music

On Thursday, December 19, the traditionally festively decorated auditorium of our school became the setting for a special evening: the Christmas Concert 2024 offered a successful mix of music, lyrics and theater, which put our audience - consisting of parents, partners and friends - in a contemplative pre-Christmas mood.

Under the direction of our music teacher Helko Kühne and with a lot of passion from the participating students, a varied program was presented. It ranged from lively band pieces to emotional solo performances and a humorous sketch.

The variety of musical contributions was a particular highlight: From classic Christmas carols to modern arrangements and sophisticated instrumental pieces, there was something for everyone. The close cooperation between the different year groups and the support of our teachers made the concert a real community experience.

The principal, Mrs. Sommer, opened the evening with grateful words and emphasized the importance of gratitude and trust, which became visible in many ways through the concert. Her special thanks went to all the participants, whose commitment made the evening an unforgettable experience - especially Helko Kühne for the organization and the two presenters Eleni and Anna-Helene.

At the end, the entire audience sang the song "Sind die Lichter angezündet" together - an emotional moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the Christmas season. The standing ovation from the audience acknowledged the great performance of all the artists.

The 2024 Christmas concert was another all-round successful event and once again showed how lively and diverse our school is. A big thank you to everyone involved for this wonderful evening!
