Exchange and networking
Under this motto the Workcamp Demokratie took place on 21.04. and 22.04.2023 in the KIEZ Weißwasser. We were allowed to participate in this, because we had applied with our project from the last school year (Democracy: Past and Present) in the competition "Democratic Action 2022".
The goal was to get into exchange with actors of other democratic projects from the federal state of Saxony. This was achieved in a relaxed atmosphere while paddling on the Braunsteich pond, around the campfire, on the beach volleyball court or during the ride on the Muskauer steam train to the Kromlauer Rhododendron Park and the Rakotz Bridge. In addition, we were able to participate in workshops in which valuable tips were given on how to participate democratically at our school.
Also the weather played along and so we could enjoy two very nice days with valuable suggestions in the Upper Lusatia.
