A Nawi week in Jena

On Monday we went on an excursion to Jena together with our parallel class. There we first walked together to the hostel and put down our luggage. On Monday we went on an excursion to Jena together with our parallel class. There we first walked together to the hostel and put down our luggage. Together we went into the city and had 1 hour each to get lunch, then we did a relaxed city rally, where you actually walk through the city and look for certain places. Later we soon had dinner and after we had eaten the teachers still thought they had to march with us into the forest. After returning home we got ready and went to bed early because we wanted to be rested the next day.
Tuesday morning we had breakfast and then we went to the Phyletic Museum. There we were divided into groups and we got worksheets that we had to work on at the 5 stations. In the museum where we were, we liked the station with the UV lamps the best, the stuffed animals and the pickled worms rather not. After lunch we went to the university. There everyone got a white coat and protective goggles. Then we went to the lab together and had several stations where we did many cool experiments: there were explosions and chemical reactions and much more. It was definitely very exciting. After dinner, a part of our group went again to the city center of Jena at night to get into every elevator and try to get into the Jentower with Edeka vouchers. After returning home, we soon went to bed.
On Wednesday, after breakfast, we went to the Zeiss Planetarium together with class 7a. A movie was shown about planets and stars as well as constellations. We had a nice idea about our universe. Then we went on our walk to the next program point, the Imaginata - an experiment room. Here we then had time to experiment. The teamer on site helped us with the experiments and explained them to us. We learned a lot about physics in the Imaginata. For example, that there is light that "swallows" colors, so to speak, or what it's like to cross a 15-meter-long wire rope with a bicycle hanging at a height of 6.50 meters. Now it got a little hectic, because time was running out: we had to quickly get our luggage from the hostel and go to the train station. Our train ride was very stressful because we had to change trains because our wagon was disconnected in Gera. But everything went well and 17:39 we arrived in Meerane.
