This is one of the reasons why our school pays special attention to January 27. On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember over 6 million murdered Jews on the one hand and, on the other, confront the forgetting and denial of history. In this way, our pupils develop an awareness of history that allows them to correctly interpret the mistakes of the past and sensitizes them to a positive future.
And so our school once again carried out a programme this year that was inspired by Erich Kästner, who said: "The past must speak and we must listen. Before that, we and it will not find peace."
