The international students of the International Gymnasium Meerane explored the city of Meerane during the excursion week before the autumn vacations.
In cooperation with Mrs. Sommerfeld, the students were able to visit the old town hall and the museum in Meerane. This shows not only antiques of the 19th and 20th century, but also refers to the historical background of the city of Meerane.
In addition to the modern library, there was also the opportunity to marvel at the Protestant Church of St. Martin. The students listened to the beautiful organ sounds, which were played by Cantor Ranft- Knopfe at the end.
But, this was not all. A joint walk through Meeran parks with historical background rounded off the excursion days.
Many thanks to the teachers involved as well as the cooperation with the city of Meerane and the Evangelical Church of St. Martin.
