Christmas concert 2022 - "Little Heroes

And at the end it was long applause. Applause because of a wonderful evening, great artistic contributions and especially because after two years of abstinence finally a Christmas concert could take place in our auditorium again.
Our school choir opened the concert with "Come and blow, Winter Wind". In accordance with this invitation, a wintry breeze also blew around the following artists, which brought out the Christmas mood more and more from piece to piece. Whether on the violin, guitar, ukulele, saxophone, flute, trumpet, clarinet, grand piano or as a band, all the young and old performers showed what they could do and contributed to a successful program. Also the theater AG provided with their "Tortmann Nanne" for much amusement. Afterwards, they perhaps thought again whether it should be the "Kichterlette" or rather the "Kachswerzen". And last but not least, the two tenth graders Anna Wißgott and Eleni Tischer contributed to the success of the concert with their sovereign and carefree moderation.
The physical well-being was provided by our student company with steaks and grills as well as our twelfth graders, who transformed the foyer into a sweet market with their roasted almonds and freshly baked waffles, spreading their sweet scent throughout the school.
All in all, a very great effort made by a multitude of "little heroes" to please the moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, friends and acquaintances. But an effort that was definitely worth it. Special thanks go to Mr. Kühne, who was responsible for the overall direction of the Christmas concert and who always puts our students in the right musical mood. This is another reason why we are already looking forward to the next concerts in the new year.
