SIS students measure their English skills at IGM

On Wednesday, April 19, the International Gymnasium Meerane was the venue for the SIS English Olympics. Students from grades 5 to 9 from different high schools and grammar schools of SIS competed in this English competition to put their language skills to the test.

In this competition, in which the best English students competed separately in high schools and grammar schools, various language skills were tested. The students had to demonstrate their language skills in a wide variety of disciplines.

After several challenging tasks that demanded everything from the students, the winners were finally decided. The performances of the participants were really impressive and it was a close call, but in the end the best students prevailed.

We are particularly proud of the achievements of the students from the International Gymnasium Meerane. Johannes from grade 6 achieved a fantastic first place among all high schools, while Emil and Alexandra and from grade 7 and 8 missed the podium with very good results. A very special congratulations also goes to Mia from grade 9, who claimed victory in the high school category.

The International Gymnasium Meerane would like to congratulate all successful participants on their achievements and is incredibly proud of the students' great performances. The SIS English Olympiad was an incredibly exciting competition that tested the students' language skills to their limits. We are already looking forward to the next Olympiad and are excited to see who will come out on top this time.
