With great motivation and anticipation, we began our one-week study trip to Malta - made possible through funding from the EU program ERASMUS+. The trip offered a well-balanced mix of cultural exchange, academic input, and language development.
A particular highlight was the 30-hour English course at a language school, which we attended together with participants from across Europe - including Portugal, Lithuania, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, and England. The conversation sessions were especially valuable: they not only encouraged us to speak more freely but also enabled meaningful encounters and intercultural exchange.
At the same time, we gained a clear understanding of Malta's social and structural challenges - such as limited space, rising living costs, and heavy traffic. These experiences sharpened our awareness of global differences and deepened our appreciation for the living conditions we enjoy in Central Europe.
Conclusion: This ERASMUS+ funded trip not only improved our language skills but also broadened our perspectives - a truly enriching experience that will stay with us for a long time.
