Following a nice tradition, the International Gymnasium participated in the big cleaning day of the city of Meerane again this year.
Besides our principal Mrs. Sommer and the deputy principal Mr. Fehre, more than 60 students and 14 teachers of all grades participated. Despite big rain showers in the morning hours, the participants did not let their courage and strength be taken away. As the work began, the rain subsided and did not resume until the work was finished. Large areas of Meeran's city center, the railroad station grounds, the New Town Hall and the Sculpture Park were cleared of trash.
