We are in the final spurt of our school year and, as usual, everyone is putting their last bit of energy into this time.
This year is particularly significant, as our beautiful town of Meerane is 850 years old and we have helped to put together an extensive program of festivities.

Goosebump moments on the Red Hill: IGM together with three other choirs and world star Paul Potts

Visitors to the Red Hill experienced an unforgettable moment at the start of the 850th anniversary celebration week in Meerane: four Meerane choirs, including Sisters in Action, the Meerane church choir St. Martin, Meeracante and the choir of the Meerane International High School, performed together. Together, they formed an impressive formation of more than 100 singers, who ceremoniously opened the festival week.

Our Europe Day

This year, as every year, we celebrated Europe Day (already) on May 8 at our school. We commemorate the Schuman Declaration of May 9, 1950 as the origin of the European Union and the associated prerequisite for peace in Europe after the Second World War.

Great chess in our schoolyard!

We are delighted to announce that our GTA school club has now installed a giant chess set in the school playground! This project was made possible thanks to our dedicated janitor Mr. Müller and the help of our students. Now all pupils can play chess in XXL format in the open air!
