For our sixth graders, the school year did not start in the usual way in the classroom, but in the Glauchau outdoor pool. Over four days, we worked together on our individual swimming skills, depending on our previous knowledge. This included breaststroke swimming, swimming on the back, various jumps into the water, diving off the starting block and deep and long-distance diving.

On June 15, 2024, 26 high school graduates received their well-deserved Abitur certificates in the auditorium of our high school. After eight years together, their time at school comes to an end and the next doors open. Luca Reimann and Valentin Ehrler were even able to celebrate an outstanding average of 1.0.

Meerane International Grammar School has taken the competition motto "GREY MAKES GREEN" almost literally. Where today there is a large, park-like school grounds in the center of Meerane, a few years ago there were still industrial buildings.
