A "suggestion box" as an additional opportunity for all students to pass on their concerns.

This school year we have a new offer for all students, which should support a long tradition at our high school. For some time now, a suggestion box has been hanging next to our former student library (under the school roof), which all students can use to voice their concerns, inquiries, calls for help, and suggestions.

For almost 10 years, Ms. Schramm, a teacher at our school, has been working as a counselor and liaison teacher and has so far discussed all related problems in many, often time-consuming, personal conversations with students, parents and affected colleagues, looked for possible solutions and then accompanied the problem solving. This is to remain the case.

Nevertheless, the students have decided to set up this suggestion box to give weight to their voices when they are initially reluctant to ask an adult for help but still need support. This box is emptied at regular intervals and all questions, worries, needs, but also suggestions receive a solution, although the users of the suggestion box can also act anonymously.

It's a nice thing that, in addition to personal assistance, this form of problem forwarding is also possible. Nevertheless, in the end a personal word is often far more helpful, because in a mutual conversation one can above all force the cause identification. But it is up to each student which way he/she chooses to get help and support in overcoming his/her worries. Certainly, the information in the grievance box is the impetus for further action!

With this in mind, dear students, don't be afraid to take advantage of this offer of help!!!
