These were the questions our eleventh graders had to ask themselves in December to prepare for the job application training that was conducted for them at our school as part of the FfL (Fit for Life) lessons.

And at the end it was long applause. Applause because of a wonderful evening, great artistic contributions and especially because after two years of abstinence finally a Christmas concert could take place in our auditorium again.

That probably doesn't happen that often either. Everyone presented something on this day. Whether as a lecture with PowerPoint, as an experiment, in role play, in English, Spanish or French. Our presentation day was responsible for this colorful variety of methods.

... with the first white flakes, the anticipation of the upcoming Advent and Christmas season sets in silently and unnoticed. At the same time they show us: The year 2022 is coming to an end and it is time to look back and ask, how was the year for me and my loved ones?

Walking through nature with open eyes, looking closely, questioning things and doing their own research and experiments - that was the goal of Lennart, Nils and Emil from Class 7a. In a competition organized by the environmental and nature conservation association BUND Saxony, students from all over the Free State were called upon to keep a nature diary. The topic could be chosen and worked on freely according to interest - alone, in research teams or as a class project.

Getting a private tour of the Max Pechstein Museum in Zwickau and then having the opportunity to shoot their own films there - our art class 11 got this chance in November thanks to the "museum in a clip" campaign.
