With our project from last school year "Democracy: Past and Present" we succeeded in winning prizes in various competitions. Among them was the prize of 250 €.
Class 6a at the book fair
On Friday, 28.04.2023, we set off into the great realm of books and drove to Leipzig to the book fair. Already in the trains the big rush was noticeable, on the Leipzig fairground we were then overwhelmed by a multitude of people as well as an abundant offer.
Exchange and networking
Under this motto the Workcamp Demokratie took place on 21.04. and 22.04.2023 in the KIEZ Weißwasser. We were allowed to participate in this, because we had applied with our project from the last school year (Democracy: Past and Present) in the competition "Democratic Action 2022".
Internship week: Pupils of IGM Meerane experience instructive career choice days
The internship week before the Easter vacations at IGM held many interesting and educational experiences for the students of grades 5 to 10 in Meerane. While classes 7 to 9 worked in internship companies, classes 5 and 6 visited several companies in the city and got to know them.
SIS students measure their English skills at IGM
On Wednesday, April 19, the International Gymnasium Meerane was the venue for the SIS English Olympics. Students from grades 5 to 9 from different high schools and grammar schools of SIS competed in this English competition to put their language skills to the test.
