Exemplary and respectful
On June 11, Meerane High School received a very special honor: our school was the first school in Saxony to receive the "Polite School" award from the German Etiquette Society. On behalf of the society, Ms. Ina Beyer-Graichen ceremoniously presented the award to the school management.
This award recognizes our school's long-standing commitment to respectful, appreciative and polite interaction - a self-image that is lived and actively promoted every day at IGM.

We, the class 9i of the IGM, were participants of the school theater festival at the Theater Plauen Zwickau, on May 20 and 21, 2025. We met great people there who have a huge passion for acting. The atmosphere in the theater was full of energy, joy and creativity.

As part of Erasmus+ student mobility, we took part in a linguistic and cultural exchange and were able to meet the students from Agora Sant Cugat International School in person, with whom we had previously been in contact virtually.
