Film shooting in museum
Getting a private tour of the Max Pechstein Museum in Zwickau and then having the opportunity to shoot their own films there - our art class 11 got this chance in November thanks to the "museum in a clip" campaign.
November 9: Fateful Day of the Germans
No other date in German history is so loaded with history, which stirs up both positive and negative emotions, as November 9.
Therefore, the advanced course History 12 decided to pay special attention to this day and visited the traveling exhibition #StolenMemory, which is currently located in Meerane in the form of a container.
Excursion to France
We spent this year's field trip to France from 10/08/2022 to 10/10/2022 in Strasbourg and from 10/11/2022 to 10/13/2022 in Paris. Our train ride to Strasbourg took about 8 hours. On Sunday, our first day in Strasbourg, we visited the cathedral, did a city rally to get to know the city better and went to eat tarte flambée together.
Our excursion to Eisenach 2022
Let's put it this way: In Eisenach it's always uphill!
Be it to our accommodation, the "Junker Jörg". (Board and lodging were top!).
Be it to the Wartburg, during the day and in the late evening.
In the Wartburg itself we have also climbed many floors and towers.
Our language week- a different kind of excursion
This school year, unfortunately, we could not yet start our excursion to England. Therefore, we spent the week at school with a very extensive program, which our class teacher Mrs. Seidel as well as Mrs. Thieme, Mr. Gomez and Mr. Riedel put together with the active support of some parents.
A Nawi week in Jena
On Monday we went on an excursion to Jena together with our parallel class. There we first walked together to the hostel and put down our luggage. Together we then went into the city and had 1 hour each to get lunch, then we did a relaxed city rally, where you actually walk through the city and look for certain places.
¡Hola Barcelona! - Class 10 excursion to Spain
With the beginning of the 10th grade we are now already in the 6th school year learning the Spanish language. In order to be able to gain practical experience and apply our learned knowledge, we went on a language trip to the Spanish metropolis of Barcelona, which is also the second largest city in Spain and the third most visited city in Europe, from October 9 to 15.
Excursion to Schneeberg 2022
On Monday, the 17.10.22, I woke up with a smile on my face, because it went from today for the whole next week to the KIEZ in Schneeberg! When I was driven in the morning by my mom to the meeting point, I have already seen the bus. After about ¾ hour we were already there and were amazed, because the vacation resort looked really great! There were also two great club rooms and a table tennis room in our house!
Memorial trip of grade 12 of the IGM to Auschwitz
18 students of grade 12, Mrs. Arzig, Mrs. Griesche and Mr. Taubner (subject supervisor of the Brücke/Most Foundation Dresden) set off early in the morning of 09.10.2022 on the journey to Oświecim, in German Auschwitz, in order to learn in the following week profoundly about the history of the city and the largest extermination camp at the time of National Socialism.
Excursion to Lörrach
In the Dreiländermuseum, we learned in two different guided tours about the special features of the region in the border triangle on the Rhine as well as the industrialization of Lörrach, which shows amazing parallels to the one in Meerane.
